Abstracts - Instructions for authors

Preparing an abstract for submission

Abstracts should be written in clear and concise English. The word limit for abstracts is 300 words. Titles, authors, authors’ affiliations, and e-mail of the presenting author are not included in the 300-word limit. The abstract must contain a brief statement of:

  • The hypothesis or objectives of the investigation,
  • Experimental methods used,
  • Essential results, including data and, where appropriate statistics, and,
  • Conclusion


Abstract review and selection process

Abstracts will be peer reviewed according to the subject categories.

Abstract review categories:

  1. Innovative tracers in neurology: from bench to bedside
  2. Multimodality imaging
  3. Theranostics in nuclear medicine
  4. Targeted radionuclide therapy

Authors must indicate during submission the appropriate review category (one only).

Abstract submission

Abstract submission form must to be returned before December 1, 2014 to Marie-Helene Gaugler either by email marie-helene.gaugler@inserm.fr  or by fax: + 33 (0)2 28 08 02 04. 

Acceptance/Rejection notification

Notification regarding acceptance or rejection of abstracts will be sent to the presenting author by January 9, 2015 by email; consequently, an accurate email address is critical. The presenting author of accepted abstract will be notified whether it is for an oral presentation or for a poster. Rejection notifications will also be sent at that time. Prizes will be awarded for the best oral presentations and posters.
